The Enigma String Quartet The Enigma String Quartet

THE Midland Sinfonia promises a night of Gilbert & Sullivan and more on Saturday, March 2, from 7.30pm, at The Ark, St Laurence Church, Alvechurch.

The evening will feature the Enigma String Quartet, with guests Clare Spencer-Smith on cello and Bromsgrove Operatic Society soloists.

A spokesman said: “This is another visit from our favourite quartet and a very welcome return to The Ark. A special evening celebrating the songs of G&S and string works of Schubert and Moeran.”

Tickets on the door cost £13, £12 in advance from The Village Green Grocer or contact marian@midlandsinfonia.co.uk 0121 447 7040. Full time students and registered unemployed cost £5 and children are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
