A SPECIAL service of dedication has been held at a new funeral home in Bromsgrove.
The vicar of St John’s Church Reverend Chris Wingfield, Very Reverend Monsignor Graham Wilkinson, Reverend John Notman and civil funeral celebrant Lisa Rutter attended the official opening of The Co-operative Funeralcare home, held earlier this month.
The clergy blessed the High Street facilities which include two arranging rooms, where families can discuss their requirements, and a chapel of rest, where families can pay their last respects to loved ones.
Martin Tipping, funeral director, said: "I would like to thank the clergy and Lisa Rutter for attending the dedication service.
“We all appreciate the time they put aside out of their busy schedules to help make this a special occasion for us."
