A Daewoo was stolen from Broad Green between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning after a house was entered and the keys to the vehicle taken from the kitchen. The car was recovered by police after it was found abandoned in the Bromsgrove area early yesterday and a 32-year-old man was arrested nearby a short time later.
He was still being questioned by officers at Redditch Police Station yesterday evening.
Witnesses or anyone with information should call detectives at Bromsgrove CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the incident reference 141-S-280213, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
