EXCITED tots from a Bromsgrove pre-school have been saying a big thank you to the people who have turned an outdoor classroom into a reality.
In 2012, as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Sidemoor Pre-School held a grand draw to raise funds to redesign their garden.
Generous town businesses stepped in to provide prizes to win in the draw, and donated money towards the project.
The garden has now been created and features a new classroom, a grassed area and some play panels with games on, for the children to participate in.
The new space will be officially launched at an open day, being held at the pre-school that is based at the Pear Tree Children’s Centre, in Broad Street.
Prospective parents are being invited to attend to see the new area between 10am-noon on Saturday, April 13.
Toni Cooke, the pre-school’s manager, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to all the local businesses that supported us.
“The garden will benefit all the children in the group and those families that come along to events run by the children’s centre.”
