THE magic of the circus has been celebrated by Rubery youngsters.

The 45 children of Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School, based at Longbridge Methodist Church, have been learning about the circus, and were challenged to complete a range of physical activities in a circus workshop.

These included using a unicycle, type rope walking, juggling balls and balancing skills.

Youngsters and staff have also being dressing as clowns, and watched a circus show performed by Darren Walker, a nursery volunteer.

Jacqueline Walker, the nursery manager, said: “This was a lovely event which helped promote exercise and physical well-being in a fun and interactive way.”
