Another two men due before courts in connection with helping prisoner escape
11:50am Wednesday 13th March 2013 in News
ANOTHER two men are due to appear in court today charged in connection with the escape of prisoner John Anslow.
Anslow escaped from a prison escort van near HMP Hewell, between Redditch and Bromsgorve, in January last year. He remains at large.
Last night, detectives investigating the incident charged a 25-year-old man and a 29-year-old man with being involved in the conspiracy to assist in the escape of Anslow.
The pair were remanded in to custody and are due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court later.
A total of nine men, including the two mentioned above, have so far been charged in connection with the escape of Anslow.
