A TASTE of the Orient came to a Bromsgrove school, whose pupils have been studying China.

Youngsters at Bromsgrove Preparatory School, in Old Station Road, wore traditional Chinese outfits, made various Chinese crafts and had the opportunity to taste some traditional Chinese dishes, created by the school’s catering staff.

The pupils then shared all they had learned with their parents, carers and grandparents at a special assembly entitled Beyond the Great Wall.

There was also time for a visit to the children’s classrooms, to see the colourful China-themed displays the pupils had created.
