BROMSGROVE’S Mothercare store has held a successful fun day raising money for a children’s charity.
The town branch, in High Street, held the Royal Baby fun day on August 17.
Inspired by the birth of Prince George, Mothercare staff organised Royal themed activities including a guess the royal name of a cuddle soft toy and a visit from Princess Peppa Pig.
Freya Lawley was the lucky winner of the colouring competition and she is having her picture sent to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as part of her prize.
All the money raised at the event was donated to the Save the Children charity.
Cathy Davis, from the store, said: “Staff at Mothercare and Save the Children would like to thank all of our customers and the people of Bromsgrove for being so generous.
“Freya and her family were overjoyed with winning.”
