Lloyd's relaunches with a charity fete
1:50pm Tuesday 1st October 2013 in News
LLOYD’S Bank in Bromsgrove High Street held an official relaunch event last week with an announcement by the town crier Kevin Ward, and a charity fete.
The fete raised more than £600 for the bank’s chosen charity for 2013, the Alzheimer’s Society, and visitors got to enjoy local craft stalls, a tombola and a raffle.
There was also a performance by children from Lickey End First School’s Hummingbird choir.
An official ribbon was cut by long-standing bank customer George Verney.
The bank, which has been known as Lloyds TSB for the last 18 years following a merger, has now rebranded itself, returning to its former name, and separating out customers into the new relaunched Lloyds and TSB banks.
