CREATIVE students at North Bromsgrove High School have showcased their fashion design skills.

Pupils from year 10 and the school’s sixth form displayed their clothing creations during Project Runway.

The catwalk event was organised by A level textiles students, budding designer Laura Gould and pupil Shannon Grimsley, who enrolled fellow students to strut their stuff on the catwalk in an array of outfits.

An audience of parents, teachers and friends were treated to a style catalogue of around 70 different outfits on Wednesday, October 9.

Teacher Adele Davidson said: “This sort of event is an important way for the students to get involved and learn about how a fashion show is set-up and run. It’s an ideal platform to display their skills in textile design and manufacture. The models were great and they looked the part in some very creative outfits.”

The fashion show, which bloomed with the help of floral displays supplied by Littleheath Garden Centre, also raised £170 for Leukaemia charities.
