A BROMSGROVE charity is organising a football match to raise money for neo-natal units in the Midlands, at the Victoria ground.
Libby Mae’s Little Angels was established by Catshill couple Charlotte and Richard Sharratt in memory of their daughter Libby Mae who died when she was only two weeks old.
The charity raises money for neo-natal units in the West Midlands like the one at Birmingham Children’s Hospital where Libby Mae was looked after, and on Sunday, November 10 it has organised a charity football match between a team from Libby Mae’s Little Angels, and Aston Villa Lions and Legends.
Mrs Sharratt said: “Our charity is going from strength to strength and we have now raised over £20,000. We’re overwhelmed at the support we’re receiving.”
The game will kick off at 2pm with lots of fun to be had at the pitch including a hog roast, tombola, raffle and an auction. Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for under 16s and can be booked by calling 07584 019334.
