Bromsgrove hotel staff get creative for charity
10:30am Monday 4th November 2013 in News
STAFF at a Bromsgrove hotel have been getting creative in support of a town charity’s Christmas Fair.
A team from the Hilton Hotel in Birmingham Road has been making arts and crafts goods as part of the hotel's annual global week of service.
The team's goods were made so they can be sold at the Stroke Association’s Christmas Fair, which is being held on Saturday, December 7, at the Life After Stroke Centre, in Church Lane.
Claire Benfield, the Stroke Association's regional fund-raiser, said: “We’re so grateful to the staff members at the Hilton who put so much time and effort into making some lovely pieces for our fair.
“All the funds we raise will help our Life After Stroke Centre do even more to support stroke survivors.”
There is free entry to the fair, which runs from 11am until 4pm, and includes winter warming refreshments and a Santa’s grotto.
