A BROMSGROVE-based fostering agency has been recognised with a prestigious Government-funded award for its charitable donations.

Core Assets Fostering, based at Saxon Business Park in Hanbury Road, has been awarded the bronze Payroll Giving Quality Mark Award by Charitable Giving.

Core Assets works with communities around the world improving the lives of children and families while upholding equality for staff, carers and children.

The award recognises the charitable donations from Core Assets staff deducted through the Payroll Giving scheme.

The bronze award is a symbol of excellence, reflecting the efforts of Core Assets to create a culture of giving in the workplace.

Overall Core Assets, which celebrates its 20th birthday next year, has contributed between £450 and £500 per month to its favourite charities.

David Oldham, chief operating officer at Core Assets Fostering, said: “To receive the award is fantastic recognition of our visions and values.

“There is a culture of generosity at Core Assets and the Payroll Giving scheme is just one way in which the company raises thousands of pounds for charity each year.

“We as a company are hugely proud to receive this honour and will continue to strive to be recognised for our charitable giving in the future.”
