WYCHBOLD and District Royal British Legion has thanked residents for their support of this year's Poppy Appeal.
The Wychbold branch has been adding up the amount collected and an impressive £5,012 was raised.
All money donated is used to support serving and ex-service men and women from the Armed Forces, as well as their carers and families.
In November, the Royal British Legion announced it had set a national target of raising £37 million, and an announcement on whether this was achieved is expected in the new year.
