Older people urged to take control of their money

A POLL by Age UK has showed 43 per cent of people in the West Midlands aged over 65 did not feel financially prepared for their retirement either due to not saving enough or rising living costs.

Supervisor with the charity’s Herefordshire and Worcestershire branch Vanessa Mann said: “Once in retirement people need to be savvier with their income, to shop around to find not only value for money but also a product that’s right to fit their needs."
