SEVERAL distinctive and valuable items have been stolen during a burglary, which took place in Barnt Green earlier this year.
The incident occurred at some point between Wednesday, January 1 and Wednesday, February 5 at a property in Hewell Road.
Items stolen from during the burglary include cufflinks engraved with the initials PJD, an 18carat gold tie clip set with three diamonds, a gold belcher chain with a CLEAR STONE AND A HOLOGRAM OF A HORSE’S HEAD, a small handmade chest containing watchmakers’ tools, a silver hip flask, a machine turned silver cigarette case, several silver stopwatches, and a Birmingham hallmarked silver Millennium spoon, marked with the number 2000 in a cross shape with a dot at its centre.
Also taken during the burglary were six Georgian silver teaspoons, a copy of an Elizabethan teaspoon with a twisted handle, a small collection of old coins in various currencies, a pearl necklace, a silver gilt medal on a ribbon, a small silver jewellery box, and a silver Liberty dollar from the 1870s, as well as a laptop, wallet, and cash in both sterling and Russian currency.
