MORE than £1,000 damage was caused and various items stolen during a Catshill burglary.

The incident happened in Golden Cross Lane, between 8am on Thursday, February 13, and 3pm on Monday, February 17.

An attempt was made to force the front door, before access was gained to the rear of the property and glass was smashed in a back door.

A total of £1,050 damage was caused.

Among the items stolen were a Medion silver laptop with a black keyboard, which was in a material carrier bag and was worth £500, and a men’s plain silver ring, worth £250.
