YOU may have noticed that Barnt Green's Acorns Children’s Hospice shop has had a bit of a makeover recover.

The Hewell Road shop closed for five days last month for a refit and the outlet’s new look features an increased choice of ladies’ wear and accessories, and more space for its selection of children’s wear and toys.

Shop manager Sandra Redfern said: “We are really pleased with the new look. We now have more space for our merchandise, providing shoppers with more choice than ever. The closure wasn’t very long and the results have made it worthwhile.

“As well as shopping here, we want people to donate good quality items for our revamped retail space. It’s easy to drop items off as there is parking opposite the store.”
