THE new managing director of a company promoting Bromsgrove businesses wants to make the town a place where local firms can flourish.
Lyndon Stokes has just taken over as the managing director at TheBestOfBromsgrove, a website that lists, assesses and connects local businesses in the town.
If a shopper wants to find that perfect gift they can search who will stock it, if a restaurant wants to let people know the delicious dishes they offer they can upload their details online, and anyone else can simply keep up-to-date on the latest goings on in the town, find out about great offers and events or have their say on business issues.
Lyndon said that he want's to foster a spirit of partnership between trusted local businesses and the people living in the town, where firms are seen to be supporting the community and are in return supported by local people.
"We want local businesses to come and join us. We will help you to grow your business whilst becoming part of a trusted community of local people and businesses working together," he said.
TheBestOfBromsgrove has over 10,000 registered members which are assisted by marketing and promotional material both online and in the form of posters videos and event sponsorship.
