A LOCAL opticians will be running an Easter colouring competition for all children aged ten and under.

Specsavers at 131 High Street will be inviting children to take part in the colouring contest to celebrate the Easter holidays.

Mark Gibson, store director at Specsavers in Bromsgrove, said: "Easter’s a great time for kids and it’s good to get them involved while they’re off school. We’re excited to see all the colourful entries."

The Easter egg template can be picked up from the store and all entries must be submitted by Saturday, April 19.

The winner will be chosen on Monday, April 21 and will receive a giant Easter egg as a prize.

Second and third place will also receive a reward for their hard work and egg colouring skills.

The store will also be carrying out specs MOTs (cleaning and adjustments) in return for donations throughout April with all proceeds going to charity Guide Dogs.
