BROMSGROVE police are asking for witnesses to a burglary in Aston Fields to come forward.

The incident happened in Stoke Road between 3pm on Friday, April 11, and 11.20am on Saturday, April 12.

Offenders are believed to have gone through an insecure side gate, then through a small rear window that had been left open.

Among the items stolen were a silver and white Apple iPad with a dark coloured cover worth £300, a cream Apple iPod worth £50, car keys, a black Fujitsu laptop worth £500 in a laptop bag and a Hewlett Packard laptop.

Also stolen was a ladies black handbag containing a gold engagement ring that had belonged to a relative of the victim and was of sentimental value.

Police investigating the incident have been carrying out house-to-house inquiries.
