A BROMSGROVE school has been supporting a town charity for Lent.
Staff and youngsters at St Peter's Catholic First School brought tinned and dried food, and toiletries, into the Rock Hill-based school for a collection.
Shoppers at Bromsgrove's ASDA supermarket even supported the collection by donating some of their food.
The items collected were then donated to The Basement Project, based in Hanover Street, which provides practical and emotional support for youngsters aged between 16 and 25-years-old, who are homeless or facing homelessness.
Youngsters also learned about Lent, and the importance of helping people less fortunate than themselves.
