COFTON Hackett residents, and other members of the church community, are invited to a service celebrating the installation of a new church bell.
In October 2012, one of the historic bells at St Michael's CE Church, in Cofton Hackett, was stolen from the belfry.
After the theft a new bell was cast and installed recently at a cost of almost £10,000.
This Sunday, June 1, the church vicar, Reverend Rob Fieldson, has organised a service of dedication from 6pm.
One of the guests, the Archdeacon of Birmingham, Ven Hayward Osborne, will be dedicating the bell.
After the service, light refreshments will be served.
