POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in Belbroughton.

The offences took place at commercial premises in Quantry Lane, on Tuesday, May 6.

The incident happened between 8.45pm and 9.30pm, with the offenders forcing entry to a storage unit and stealing 50 litres of red diesel, along with an angle grinder.

They also damaged a van and a car, and stole a quantity of designer clothes from the car including a Ducati jacket, a number of Hugo Boss shirts, Yamamoto trainers, Tag Heuer sunglasses, worth £1,600, plus a grey iPad Air worth £650 and a black leather iPad Air case worth £90.

The offenders are believed to have been using a grey Ford Mondeo, stolen during a burglary in Shirley, near Solihull, in November.

The vehicle was later recovered in Charmwood Road, Frankley, in the early hours of Friday, May 9, after failing to stop for police.

The occupants ran off after driving up an alleyway, and colliding with another vehicle and a fence.

Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked to call PC Ian Heeks at West Mercia Police, on non-emergency number 0300 333 3000, quoting incident 796-s-060514.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
