JEFF Leach is a true Renaissance man.

Having already achieved success with careers in commercial radio, as a DJ and presenter for BBC and as a film actor, he is now focusing his plethora of talents on stand-up comedy.

A finalist in the London New Comedian Awards and Amused Moose Laughter Awards, with three sold out hour-long Edinburgh Festival show under his belt, he has now begun his UK tour and will be coming to Bromsgrove's Artrix this Saturday, May 31.

Fresh from university, Jeff landed a lead role in the Royal Shakespeare Company's Complete Works Festival and worked for radio stations including XFM, Mercia FM and KERRANG! Radio.

He became one of Europe's most notorious live DJs under the moniker Men In Masks producing for Island Records and Ministry of Sound and at a festival in 2008 he was offered the opportunity to become a television presenter.

This resulted in Jeff presenting a whole host of youth, music, factual entertainment and documentary programmes over the past four years including The National Lottery, Comic Relief Naughty Bits (BBC1) and Big Brother's Big Mouth.

He was also the face, voice and sole presenter of Virgin Media Music On Demand for three years interviewing the likes of Lady GaGa, Kelly Rowland, Professor Green, Example and providing V Festival coverage for the channel during that time.

In his show, Jeff tackles the fragility of being a modern man, fears of fatherhood and the perils of pining for fame.

Jeff Leach presents Fit (Work in Progress) in the Artrix Studio at 7.30 pm on Saturday, May 31.

Tickets cost £10 (£8 concessions) and are available from the box office on 01527 577330 or online at artrix.co.uk.
