IT’S very nearly time for tea at St John’s Court Care Home in Bromsgrove, with the residents setting up their own traditional tea room at the top of the house.
The tea room, which will have views over the building’s ornate rooftop, St John’s Church and the green, has been stocked with an array of china cups and saucers, with lots of input from the residents and staff into how the furniture should be arranged.
The Bromsgrove Lions are helping to put in the finishing touches, and a grand opening and ribbon cutting is planned for This Thursday, June 5 at 3pm.
Once it’s open, the tea room will be open to the public for morning coffee and afternoon teas.
