BROMSGROVE Churches Together is organising a Pentecost Party in the Park event to celebrate Pentecost, the day in the Christian calendar when the followers of Jesus were visited by the holy spirit and charged to go out and spread the word of God.
The Party in the Park is taking place on Sunday, June 8 in Sanders Park from 1.30pm with everyone invited to bring their own picnic for a giant picnic lunch before games and face painting for the children from 1.45pm, and Pentecost praise at 2.30pm.
If the weather isn’t suitable, the party will be moving to the Methodist Centre on Stratford Road.
