THERE has been no change of chairman or vice chairman at the parish council in Catshill and North Marlbrook.
At the latest meeting of the parish council, held on May 29, members of the parish council voted on the annual appointments.
Councillor Alan Kelly was voted to continue for another year in office as the authority’s chairman, with councillor Gordon Witcomb in the deputy role.
In his report to the parish council Cllr Kelly thanked members for their activities and support over the last year.
He said: “I am looking forward to 2014/15 and what it will bring.
"Next year we will expect to see easier access around the Lydiate Ash traffic island, the installation of a new flood alleviation water feature on the old allotment site east of Lingfield Walk in Catshill, and possibly even a new council next May.
“I am hopeful that in that time we shall also see more of the Neighbourhood Plan and a renewed and re-invigorated Catshill Fun Day and I would urge all with the time and skills available, to get as involved as possible.”
