TALENTED youngsters from a Bromsgrove dance school enjoyed performing in front of a large crowd at the weekend.

The dance troupe from Bromsgrove School of Dance were given the opportunity to perform during Great Britain Women's basketball European qualifier, held at the University of Worcester Arena on Sunday, (June 8).

The troupe, called Notorious, performed 10 upbeat and energetic dances on the court during the breaks and timeouts during the match against Belgium.

Sarah-Jane Preedy, who runs the children’s class at the High Street-based dance school, said: "‘To give Notorious the chance to perform at the arena has been brilliant, the support from all the dancers families has been fantastic.

"Notorious helped to warm up the crowd, keep the atmosphere booming and help support the GB women in their victory.

"The youngsters, aged eight to 16-years-old, executed stand out performances receiving excellent feedback."

As the team impressed, they have now been asked to perform at the remaining qualifying games at the arena.

The next qualifier is being held at the venue on Sunday, June 22.
