A BROMSGROVE charity, set up in memory of a two-week-old baby, is inviting people to a charity ball next month.

Libby Mae’s Little Angels was established by Catshill couple Charlotte and Richard Sharratt in memory of their daughter Libby Mae who died when she was only two weeks old in April 2013.

The charity raises money for neo-natal units in the West Midlands like the one at Birmingham Children’s Hospital where Libby Mae was looked after.

On Saturday, July 26, the charity is holding the ball at the Burlington Hotel in New Street, Birmingham.

The event is a black tie, glamorous event with guests invited to wear clothes with a hint of pink - the charity's colour.

The night includes a three course meal with wine, an auction and raffles, entertainment from girl band The Glamophones, acoustic duo Discovered, and Paola Verse.

There will be a pink champagne reception from 6.30pm, with a DJ after the entertainment until the early hours.

Tickets cost £55, with money raised being donated to the charity.

Tickets are available by calling 07584019334.
