A FORMER Bromsgrove resident has become a published author for the first time.
Steve Carter, who grew up in the town where his family still live, has seen his work, The Book of Good, published.
The book inspires readers to do good deeds to make people happy. The book also features an interactive element where readers can record what they have done on each page, in a diary style format.
Steve said: "It is a book for all people.
"Life can be tough. If everyone took on the challenge to be good on a daily basis the world would be a better place for everyone.”
Steve has fond memories of Bromsgrove and his time at South Bromsgrove High School where, he said, he struggled academically but achieved good results due to the support of some great teachers.
This led him to pursue his own career in teaching becoming a secondary school teacher in Stockport where he has worked for the past 25 years.
A Good Book is being published by Publish Nation, and is available from Amazon.
