CUBS and Scouts from across Bromsgrove and Droitwich have been lending a hand around their local communities as part of Scout Community Week.
Almost 100 youngsters took part in the initiative, with members of First Bromsgrove creating a garden area outside St John’s Church Hall in Bromsgrove, and Third Droitwich planting a pondside flower bed at Gloverspiece Minifarm in the town.
Bromsgrove Scouts also served afternoon tea and cakes to residents at the Herriots Sheltered Housing, while the Sixth Bromsgrove completed a litter pick around Catshill village, and built several ‘bug hotels’.
Anyone interested in supporting Scouting locally as a volunteer should call Val on 01527 837060 or email volunteer@bromsgrovescouts.org.uk.
