BROMSGROVE residents were out on Monday this week to show their support for the men and women of the Armed Forces as Bromsgrove District Council raised a flag to mark the sixth Armed Forces Day.
Civic dignitaries and community representatives, including the civic head John Ruck, attended a special ceremony at Crown Green, and watched the flag being hoisted.
Councillor Ruck said: "By flying the flag in our community, we are showing our support for the men and women of our Armed Forces, past and present, who continue to rise to the very difficult challenge of maintaining the defence of the realm."
