FRANKIE and Bennys restaurant in Great Park, Rubery, is currently raising money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Across the company, more than £200,000 has been raised, and the local site has contributed more than £1,000 already through various fundraising activities since starting fundraising in January.

Recently the managing director of Frankie and Bennies, who comes from Bromsgrove, also set about cycling from London to Paris to again help raise awareness of the cause and hopefully raise lots of money.

This weekend, the Rubery restaurant has a target of £400 to raise. There will be a raffle, which prizes including a Go Ape voucher, Drayton Manor tickets, a spa day, cinema tickets and lots more. There will also be face painting, guess the number of balloons in a car, staff fancy dress and a charity bike ride.
