A RIDE out of between 500 and 1,000 bikes is set to leave Ragley Hall on Sunday, July 20 in memory of a British soldier Conrad Lewis, who was killed in Afghanistan.
Private Lewis was the 353rd soldier to be killed in the conflict, and his parents Tony and Sandra Lewis established a charity 353.org.uk in his memory, to raise money for various other military-based charities.
Conrad’s parents are also keen bikers, and they will be leading the ride out, which is planning to leave Ragley Hall at 10am, before proceeding through Feckenham, Hanbury and Bromsgrove, on its way to Kidderminster and the finish line in Bridgnorth.
The bikers will be travelling through Bromsgrove at around 11am, and would welcome any supporters who would like to turn out to wave them on.
Anyone can join in with the ride for a fee of £5, which is payable on arrival at Ragley. People wanting to make a donation to the charity, should visit 353.org.uk or find ‘Conrad’s Ride’ on Facebook.
