FAMILIES from more than 30 countries took part in Bromsgrove School’s annual Commemoration Day celebrations.
Students at the Worcester Road School lined up in their houses to say farewell to their teachers and fellow pupils.
Chris Edwards, Headmaster of Bromsgrove School for the last decade, was the guest speaker at the event. He will be leaving the school to depart for United World College of South East Asia at the end of the summer.
The head boy and head girl handed over the official School flag to Mr Edwards and then to the incoming Headmaster, Mr Clague.
A Sixth Form Ball took place on Gordon Green.
Awards were given to Senior Boarders, Margarita Domushieva and winner of the Paul Sawtell Trophy, Philip Rowsell.
Heads of school, Samuel Leather, Emily Taylor and their deputies Daniel Garvie and Andrea Ellinas also received awards.
Declan Amphlett took the Cookes Prize and Hannah Trow received the Tony Limbert Trophy.
The Ben Showell Memorial Rose Bowl went to Simon Hotchin and the Kelly Bicknell Award was presented to Georgina Flowerdew.
