Charity golf day raises hundreds for ambulance charity

A CHARITY golf day has raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

Wall James Chappell Golf Day annual charity golf day was held on July 2 at Blackwell Golf Club, in Agmore Road.

More than 10 teams completed in a stableford four ball competition and the winners were FRP Advisory, with OGL finishing runners up.

On the day there was also a longest drive and nearest the pin competition.

The day proved a success raising more than £700 for the Midlands Air Ambulance charity.

James Rousell, a partner at Wall James Chappell, said: "We would like to thank all of those who supported this year's golf event particularly those companies and local businesses who entered a team.

"We would also like to thank all of the staff at Blackwell for making us feel so welcome and for ensuring that the day ran smoothly. "
