LOOKING for something to do over the summer to keep the young ones happy?

With summer holidays about to start, children of all ages are being invited to enjoy a jam-packed jamboree of activities at Bromsgrove's Artrix.

Artrix Summer Family Fun Festival, which runs from July 28 to August 15 is packed with creative activities for young people aged four up to 18.

There are two full week of stage schools for young performers during which they will devise and rehearse a show for performance in the 300 seat theatre.

Rock school is from July 28 to August 1 and magic of musicals is August 11 to 15.

Children aged six to 11 can join Club Creative, a lively and fun holiday club between August 4 to 8.

There will also be a number of themed days such as jungle day, wonderland day, and time machine day.

If the grown-ups want to join in, there are family fun Fridays on August 1, 8 and 15 between 10.30am and 3pm.

Bring a picnic and drop in for free craft activities, a free bouncy castle, face painting and different free events and performances each week.

There are lots of workshops that youngsters can try out, from paper craft to pottery, urban dance and free running to graffiti art, DJing to textiles and junk instrument making.

Young performers can show off what they can do in the free Talent Show from 2.30-3.30pm on Friday, August 15 (places for this need to be booked in advance).
