TICKETS have gone on sale for a charity variety show taking place at the Artrix to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation.
The show has been organised by Kimal, a developer, manufacturer and supplier of clinical supplies in Bromsgrove, and will feature party band One Stop Boogie, as well as acoustic singer/songwriter Dan Roberts, and lots of chances for audience members to sing along.
The company has organised a number of events over the year for its Challenge 50 fund, as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, attempting to raise £50,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation.
Steve Minett, project leader at the company, said: “Kimal receives regular updates from Make-A-Wish regarding the stories of children helped by the fundraising efforts of such organisations and individuals as Kimal. One such story concerned a boy named Liam whose wish was to meet Spiderman. On circulation of his story the employees of Kimal remarked how the story had moved them and it was total justification for Kimal supporttng the charity.”
The variety show will be taking place on Saturday, September 13 at the Artrix, with tickets priced at £12 in advance or £15 on the door.
