A BROMSGROVE theatre held its first fun festival day of the summer and attracted more than 100 visitors.
The Artrix Arts Centre hosts a range of activities to keep youngsters entertained throughout the summer holidays with two more Family Fun Festival Fridays taking place on August 8 and 15.
Last Friday, the drop-in activities between 10.30 and 3pm included a free bouncy castle, craft table, face painting and balloon modelling.
In the morning, a paper craft animals workshop took place with a pottery making session for six to 12-year-olds in the afternoon.
Next week between 10 to 4pm, a stage school for six to nine-year-olds will be put and free running activities for 10 to 17-year-olds will also be on offer.
Two free performances by 2 Faced Dance, an Urban Dance will also take place.
Hugless Douglas will be live on stage at 2pm tickets cost £10 or £8 for under 16s.
Graffiti art sessions are available for £5.
The final festival on Friday, August 15 will include a textile wall hanging workshop, a junk instrument making workshop and
a talent show.
