BROMSGROVE residents are being invited to show off their dancing skills at a tea dance.
The event will take place at Spadesbourne Suite in Burcot Lane, on Wednesday, September 24 from 2 to 4pm.
Councillor John Ruck, the civic head of Bromsgrove council, said: “The tea dance is lots of fun because it’s not all about dancing and keeping fit - it’s a great way to meet people, a real social event.
“You don’t even need to dance if you don’t feel like it. Just grab a cuppa and have a chat.”
There will also be a raffle and first-time tea dancers are welcome.
The dance is run by the district council in partnership with the Phoenix Dance Club.
This year marks the club's eighth anniversary.
Admission cost £3 and includes tea, coffee and biscuits.
The dances are held on last Wednesday of the month except December.
