BROMSGROVE Baptist Church is inviting residents to take part in a series of easy-access services during autumn.

The first event ‘Back to Church Sunday’ is taking place on Sunday, September 21 from 10am and especially welcomes those previously involved with the church.

This includes those who attended ‘Youth Squash’ in the 80s, ‘Fast Forward’ in the 90s or people who are curious about what a modern church looks like.

Minister Paul Lewis said: “We are excited to give this public invitation for anyone to share with us for their first time or as a returner. Our desire is to show the love of Jesus to all people so that whether life is great just now or hard and lonely they know that there is somewhere to turn.”

Reverend Keith Judson will also be returning to Bromsgrove on Wednesday, October 1, to be chaplain for Primrose Day Hospice and an additional minister for the church.

Mr Judson, who grew up in Bromsgrove, attended North Bromsgrove High School and is well-known in the local folk music scene.

A formal welcoming service and tea will take place on Sunday, October 19 at 3.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

Those planning to attend the welcome service should email to bgrovebaptist@gmail.com or call 01527 877190.
