A BROMSGROVE café and holistic therapy centre is to host a Macmillan coffee morning.

On Friday, September 26 The Wishing Well Café & Holistic Therapy Centre in St John Street will be offering tea, coffee and cake in return for donations.

The event, which takes place between 10 and 2pm, is being held alongside Natural Born Mums, an organisation who run birthing workshops and antenatal classes for expectant parents.

A raffle with a total prize value exceeding £1000 will be the highlight of the charity fundraiser.

Prizes will include acupuncture, a full body aromatherapy massage, Indian head massage, homeopathy, a one to one yoga session and lunch for two at the Wishing Well.

Therapists Hilary Leach, Emma Westwood and Sam Sample will be offering taster sessions of aromatherapy massage, reflexology and Reiki in return for charity donations.

Home-made cakes are being sold to take home, along with raffles and Macmillan fundraising games, at the event taking place between 10am and noon.

• Catshill residents are also invited to a Macmillan Coffee Morning this Saturday, September 27.

It takes place at the new coffee bar at Catshill Methodist Church Centre, in Golden Cross Lane, between 10am and noon.

• An unusual Macmillan fundraiser is being held at Boots the Chemist, in Bromsgrove High Street.

Altered Images gym has donated a bike that staff will be taking in turns to ride throughout Friday and Saturday.

They have been challenged to ride a total of 120 miles - the distance you would travel to visit the firm's stores throughout the region.

There will also be a raffle and a collection for the charity at the event.
