RARE books on the history of Bromsgrove are being offered at a bargain sale at the town's library.

The sale, arranged by The Bromsgrove Society, features various titles including Glory Gone - the history of the nail making industry by Bill Kings and Margaret Cooper, Notes & Queries for Bromsgrove, The Story of Bromsgrove, History of Bromsgrove Rovers, History of Bromsgrove Cricket Club, Bromsgrove and the Housmans, and many others.

Among the new titles available are Life on the Lickey, Bridging the Gap and Bromsgrove to Aston Fields, while cricket fans can enjoy the new hardback Wisden, priced at £15.

There will also be Bromsgrove Society publications and the new Rousler.

The sale is being held on Friday and Saturday, November 28 and 29, and Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6, at the Stratford Road-based library.

It will be opened on Fridays from 10am until 5pm, and Saturdays from 9am until 3pm.
