Townsfolk enjoy big breakfast and raise thousands for charity
THOUSANDS of pounds was raised at a Big Breakfast event held earlier this month.
Britain's Biggest Breakfast, organised with Bromsgrove Farmers Club, was held at Tardebigge Community Hall on March 7.
On the day 400 people were fed, and the event raised £3,390 which is being split between Cancer Research UK and Primrose Hospice.
Organiser Helen Hirons said: "A big thank you to everyone who gave up their Saturday to cook, serve, clear, wash up.
"To everyone who donated food and services and to everyone who supported us on the day.
"It is a massive amount of money to give to two very worthwhile charities."
