'Distressed' cat saved by Bromsgrove firefighters
FIREFIGHTERS in Bromsgrove have helped to rescue a ‘distressed’ cat in the early hours of this morning (May 27).
The Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from the town’s fire station rescued the cat at about 1am after it was trapped inside a clothing bank.
The crew used hydraulic spreaders to force the door open so the cat could escape.
