A BELBROUGHTON man has pleaded guilty to operating from a waste disposal site without a proper license.
Giles Detheridge, aged 34, of Hartle Lane, Belbroughton, appeared at Worcester Crown Court and pleaded guilty to the offence.
John Bruce, aged 42, of Crabbe Lane, Wadborough, also pleaded guilty to causing or allowing polluting matter, namely oil, to be poured into Barbourne Brook from a site on Blackpole Trading Estate in 2012 without the proper environmental permit. He also pleaded guilty to knowingly causing or allowing the site to be used without a proper permit.
Ronald Calder, aged 53, of Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, has previously admitted operating at C&D Metals on Blackpole Trading Estate without the required environmental permit between August 2011, and December 2012. He has also admitted allowing the discharge of a polluting matter, namely oil, into Barbourne Brook or its tributary from the site without a permit between May 2012, and October 2012.
The charges date back to 2011 and 2012 and have been brought by the Environment Agency.
Pre sentence reports have been ordered and all three will be sentenced together on a date to be fixed.
