Car fire on M5 closes two lanes
TWO lanes are closed on the M5 northbound between J5 (Droitwich) and J4a M42, because of a vehicle fire.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Droitwich and Bromsgrove fire stations were alerted and attended to the car fire at about 10am.
The crews are currently extinguishing the car which is well alight using hose reel.
The fire service announced on twitter that there is currently lots of smoke and for people to take extra care when driving in the area.
