CELEBRATED British blues rock guitarist and singer-songwriter, Joanne Shaw Taylor, will be coming to Bromsgrove for not one, but two exciting shows.

As part of a UK Autumn tour the West Midlands born singer-songwriter will be at Bromsgrove's Artrix on October 12 and 13.

A contrast from the pop style female artists that are constantly in the media eye, Joanne represents the blues rock music scene in the UK which is fast becoming very popular.

Taylor grew up around Birmingham, inspired in her early teens to play the blues after hearing Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert Collins and Jimi Hendrix.

Currently one of the biggest blues rock guitarists in the UK, she will be joined for the shows by her band featuring Oliver Perry (drums), Tom Godlington (bass), and Joe Leadbetter (keyboards).

She will perform songs from her recently critically acclaimed album The Dirty Truth, as well as songs from her previous three albums White Sugar, Diamonds in the Dirt and Almost Always Never.

The October 12 show is already sold out.
