THE Primrose Choir is set to hit the high notes at its latest concert being held at a Bromsgrove venue.

The choir will be performing a range of popular songs at its latest concert at the Spadesbourne Suite in Burcot Lane including golden oldies, songs from the musicals and other favourites.

Among the songs people will be able to join in with, while waving their flags, are popular Proms favourites Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem.

The West Mercia Police Band and Walkwood Middle School choir will also be performing and entertaining on the evening.

All profits raised from the event go to the Primrose Hospice charity, which helps individuals and families in Bromsgrove and Redditch, facing life-limiting illness.

The event is being held from 7.30pm on Friday, October 16.

Tickets cost £10, and are available by calling 01527 67383, 01527 546158, or call the hospice on 01527 889796.

There are also expected to be a limited number of tickets available on the evening.

The choir practises every Wednesday evening, and performs at a range of events. New members are always welcome to join.
